We offer delectable fondue made from award winning cheeses, a selection of fondue cooking styles to enjoy with a variety of entrée options and chocolate fondue desserts that make this dining experience one to be remembered. We are indeed the premier fondue restaurant. Choose one, two, three or more courses to create the perfect night out.

John was awesome!!! He really does a great job explaining how things worked and what he was doing when he came to the table.
When we arrived at the restaurant, there was a birthday card on the table for my daughter whose birthday we were celebrating. Mike did a super job preparing our meal and keeping our drinks refreshed. The manager stopped by to check on our evening as well.
Our server, Matt, went out of his way to ensure that we had everything we needed (including two big bowls of our favourite dip - Green Goddess). Matt also took the time to help out so that one of the diners could enjoy the meal to the fullest despite a wheat allergy. From bringing (delicious) wheat free bread, to pointing out what had wheat in it so that everyone at the table was able to be careful. It was a delightful experience, and we're glad to have had it.
Mike did an amazing job explaining the menu and cook times and he was very friendly; we had a great time and I would recommend it to anyone
Savannah was extremely helpful and anticipated all our needs.
Very awesome server!! Very attentive! And super friendly! Krisha was the best!
Switch up some of the food options for the dippers. Having the same thing every time gets old. I do like the apples with the cheese though. The flow of pace we got our food was good. Server was friendly and also seemed like a hard worker. Made sure to say she hoped we came back
Pay attention to allergies. I came home and have been ill 3 times - thankfully the garlic was only slight or I may be worse off. He didn't offer to change the broth, which is probably why I am sick. Manager made excuse about a new menu and not having the allergy noted on the herb chicken, even though we asked on multiple times, because we KNOW the menu & what is safe for me. Even when he could see the crushed garlic, he tried to argue with us to say it was a 'dry rub'. NOT what you expect from a manager in a 'service' related industry. There was an extremely loud table in the next room, so loud the waiter misunderstood my husband's drink order. We were charged for a beer we did not have. We got there for our 5 pm reservation, were the 1st to be seated ... several other guests came in after us and left before us - we are used to 2.5 hrs but this was almost 3 1/4 hours ... the service was incredibly slow. We had the wine flights, the salad wine was delivered AFTER he had taken our wine plate away. It was a terrible experience and I told the manager that we are loyal customers of Melting Pot, but would most likely NEVER return to the Columbia, SC locations. I was shocked at the total lack of service and the manager that could care less.
Larry was the best. My friend and I really enjoyed ourselves and we couldn't get enough of his smile :-)
The entree options/choices and the preparation technique could have been explained a little better. Having one pot to boil all of the items in seems to counter the seasoning choices - but we may still be a bit confused on the menu, etc. Being short, we also found it very difficult to see into the cheese & chocolate fondues and really had to stretch. I understand why the pot needs to be so far away (safety re: burns) but it would be nice to have a short table/reach for those of us who are petite.
