Caitlin did a wonderful job serving, preparing and keeping our evening special the entire length of our visit. She explained the options, prepared the various fondues quickly and really made the presentation special and at the same time insuring we knew how to get the best results. Way to go Caitlin. We will be back.
Waiter was friendly, but wasn't clear with his communication. Too much "yes sir, no ma'am" and not enough being personable to us and making us feel comfortable. Told him this was first visit, yet he seemed to assume we knew what was next. In addition, my wife ordered the Wine Flight, and we were halfway through the Cheese before he brought it...when he did drop off the wines, he didn't mention what the wine was, so we had no idea what she was drinking if we wanted to buy or order on a future visit.
Fantastic night out for our group of 11. Shania and Cody were awesome servers and we will definitely be back!!!!
As I said before, the broccoli tasted strongly of pepper. Also, upon our arrival, our server asked if we had been there before or not. When I said yes, he didn't offer to explain all the steps of the experience. I will say that he explained things as we progressed through the meal. I also was surprised to get such a big table. I think it sat 6 people and there was only my wife and I. I would have preferred a smaller table that was more intimate. I am aware of the curtained booths that Melting Pot has, but my wife didn't know that's what I wanted when I made the reservations. Overall, I will say that the value for the money was well worth it. The visit was actually very good aside from these very minor problems.
Honestly, everything was great regarding our experience. The food, though delicious, was a little pricey and the bar was out of an ingredient in one of the signature drinks, which is the one drink our birthday celebrant wanted, and he had to settle for something else, that's really the only reason the scores weren't "excellent" across the board.
Our server was extremely prepared to serve us. Very helpful and made great suggestions. We LOVE Dan the owner. He's pretty awesome and very acommadating!!!!
Jule was great we had two children with us who had never done fondue he was patient and kind and did a wonderful job overall which made our experience great
The new menus feel a little cheap to me. I'd like to see a new sauce. The plum and teriyaki are so similar. The glass shelves with pots in the restaurant are SO DUSTY. It kind of creeped me out to be eating next to them. Yuck.
It is so much fun to come, but we would come more often if it was not so expensive. Probably not 40 dollars per person worth of food.
It was our anniversary and our waitress, Sasha, was wonderful. We had a lovely end booth and she ensured that the atmosphere was perfect - we had the closed curtain for the duration of our meal. Since it was my first time there, Sasha did a great job of explaining what to expect and how to cook everything.
