    We went for my 5 year olds birthday. We had quite the large table and 2 rowdy children. The staff was great, especially with the kids. Victor was our server and he explained the whole process amazingly. He was there when we needed him. They went above and beyond for my daughter and made her feel so special. By the end of the night she told me it was the best night ever. The staff is amazing!!!! We had a manager visit from John who made sure everything was great, one of our phones died and he offered up his charger.

    As for my overall experience it was absolutely awesome! Victor was our server he was very thorough with instructions, menu down to details and gave great recommendations. His timing was perfect, and he was very friendly. We went for a nice dinner for my neice and he went above and beyond to make conversation with her (5yrs. Old) and made a special very artistic sponagbob birthday plate. Overall the experience was great!! Also John made sure to check in on us and he was beyond wonderful, even offered up his phone charger! 😊😂

    The only complaint I would have is that we were told we could get extra dipping breads for the cheese when we were finished with the first plate they brought. Our waitress didn't come back until about twenty minutes after we were finished. In my opinion you could provide more "dippers" with the initial plate.

    My only true complain was the pace of the service. Time between courses was ridiculously too long, and our server was rather inattentive to our table in regards to refilling our drinks.

    We were sitting in the Lover's Lane section, however, no one explained to us the etiquette around the curtain. I didn't know if we were supposed to shut it when we wanted, or if the server was supposed to ask us if we wanted it shut. After we ate our cheese and our salad, we decided that since the server didn't mention it, we were going to shut it ourselves, but we still don't know if that's what we were supposed to do.

    Our experience at The Melting Pot quite literally had the best server we have ever had. Mike was not just outstanding at his job but he was also absolutely exceptional on all levels. He was fantastic at explaining our meal options but even better at interacting with us and making our visit to The Melting Pot an A+ fun experience. We truly believe that EVERY restaurant needs a Mike and that any/all servers should aspire to be like him. The food was great but he is the main reason we will be coming back soon. We arrived at The Melting Pot around 7:15 and left around 11. Truly a fantastic experience. Thank you, Mike!!!!!

    Better staffin and training would reduce wait times. We also felt the manager was out of touch with our situation and did not react quickly after the first instance of excessive wait. It should have been a strong sign that not enough attention was given to our table. He did apologize at the end of diner but it was a true case of "too little, too late".
