Service was friendly and punctual. Mikey did an excellent job at making the evening enjoyable.
We had made reservations and were specific about wanting a table with chairs. At the time we made the reservations we were told everything was set. When we arrived and were called to be seated we were led to a booth, as if the hostess didn't properly read our reservation, we had to go back to the go back and be reseated.
My husband and I have been going to Melting Pot to celebrate special occasions for years. For our anniversary this year my husband, without my knowledge, purchased an additional romance package that was supposed to give us a private, rose petal covered table and a bottle of wine. We arrived and were, not in a prompt fashion, seated in a normal table which was actually next to the entrance to the kitchen. I could immediately see in my husbands eyes that something was wrong. I asked and he said nothing. Our server finally came to our table and my husband mentioned something about a romance package and the server left. A few minutes later the server came back and said sorry, we say you at the wrong table. So we were moved to the table that my husband had paid for. The surprise of the special addition my husband added was completely ruined and we ended up spending the evening talking about how this could happen instead of enjoying each others company. During the dinner my husband went to the server station and asked what he could do to make sure something like this doesn't happen again and their response was simply, sorry. Later in the meal a manager came around and we asked the same question and we were given the same response. We chose on this occasion to be polite and not demand or try to even make the littlest of scenes in the restaurant hoping someone on staff could see the blunder that was made. At this point, the Melting Pot is not on our list of restaurants to go back to. In the future I hope you can ensure your staff is more aware of situations like this
We were greeted by one of the rudest waitresses I have ever met in my life. She glared at us, seemingly as if she did not know what to do, and then a very kind waitress stepped in and asked us kindly if we had a reservation. I had specially reserved a PRIVATE table for my fiance's birthday/our anniversary. We were placed in a table RIGHT NEXT to the bathrooms where high traffic was. And glared at AGAIN by the same waitress who greeted us when I frowned sadly that my sweetheart's birthday was placed by a public bathroom. I would have gladly paid more for a better spot but NO one offered a change that was in a romantic spot! It was noisy, loud, cold, and the service was slow. My fiance and I LOVE The Melting Pot, and it has not utterly destroyed our enjoyment. But this was a very difficult thing to get over. Later on, the vegetables on my Good Earth Vegetarian meal made me SO ILL I had to run to the restroom to vomit my entire salad, cheese, and what was left of my stomach practically. Our waiter was SO kind and sweet and helped me order something else. I have been primarily vegan for over 8 years so I know when vegetables are prepared uncleanly. But again, this will not deter my fiance and I from coming back to the Melting Pot in general. However.... romantic tables are not one foot from public restrooms of high, loud, traffic. I'm just hoping my sweetheart gets a better birthday next year. =(
Everything was good although the prices are expensive.. Is a very nice place and staff was very friendly.
Linda our server was awesome she talked to us about my girlfriends new job and my job as a chef at an alzheimers care Center. She is an awesome person and deserves more credit than she gets. The manager took care of us even though we had a Groupon for the wrong day

Everything on the service side was great. Manager did stop by to introduce herself and was friendly. We were celebrating an anniversary and received nice wishes from the server. Have always had great service from this location, and will continue to come back again!
