Our waitress was phenomenal, the standard to which all others should be based.
The only person we saw was the server and 2 young ladies that kept our tea/ice water filled. Very friendly staff. I do not recall the manager coming my, however, it would not have mattered. The staff had everything under control. The ice tea and water glasses were never empty for more than 2 minutes. That means a ton when it comes to service.
We enjoy the experience. We come every year around Valentine's Day. I purchased gift certificates to share the experience with others.
The only thing that was contrary was my food items kept falling off my fondue skewer. The first time visit for me and my neighbor was tasty, fun and positive. We can't wait to return. We both liked the friendliness and informative service we got from our waitress. We both had a good time.Thank you.
I forget who our server was, but she was awesome in helping us talk through what we wanted for the main course(settled on the tried and true Mojo), and the dessert(Chocolate Toffee!). She has been there almost as long as we have been going, and she helped make the night wonderful with her easy smile and personable attitude/personality. I believe her name was Vicki(Sounds right, maybe?).
The only thing I rated poorly was the price i feel the menu was a bit expensive for what was offered but it was worth every penny in the end because the service made up for it
The meat that was dipped in the cheese was a little fatty or didn't taste excellent. All the other Foods were fun and were good.
Our waiter seemed new and we were largely ignored but the food was good. We waited about 45 minutes between the salad course and the entree course. The bill was also wrong but I called back the next day and the manager assured me it will be corrected quickly.
By far the worst part of the experience was the service we received, at first the server seemed really polite and friendly and like he cared but after we ordered it just got slower...and slower...and lazier...and lazier...we ordered a few artisan meat plates to go with our cheese fondue and he just completely forgot them and by the time we were done with it we finally let him know to make sure those got cancelled since we never received them and didnt want them since we had finished the cheese fondues. He RARELY checked on us and we waited for refills/service multiple times. VERY surprising considering we were the only ones in the dining area we were seated for the majority of the 3 hours we were there. I wouldnt have been so irritated by it but this was the most expensive dinner we have ever eaten as a family and it was a birthday dinner as well and I have had more sincere/diligent service at IHOP. The food mostly was really good though.
The booths are too small for larger folks. Also, the waitpersons should explain the fondue experience better to newcomers. The prices could be more affordable as well. This restaurant also needs more parking, preferably free parking.
