I love the servers here! They are EXTREMELY friendly and they give the night and amazing specialty that you can't get anywhere else! My dream job is to work at melting pot, I would be fabulous to get to be part of their membership! My server! Sheena made my night special, and even gave me a little of help on how to make the... FIESTA CHEESE! It was spectacular! Since I love to cook, she really helped me, and now I want to attempt to make the cheese on my own (though it might not be as good as Melting Pot's:). My Melting Pot experiences have been WONDERFUL!!
the overall experience was good, however it was my wifes birthday and i had requested the birthday package online when i made reservations. we did not receive anything throughout the dining experience.
    Better menu layout
Sergio was our server and was fantastic. He took his time to fully explain the menu and experience to the ones at our table who had never been before. He was very attentive. The manager came by at least twice and the helpers were very friendly. Great!
We went to celebrate a birthday. The staff was very friendly, and our server Graham was very helpful. The first time we went to Melting Pot (different location) our server wasn't very helpful and we did not enjoy our experience. This time was completely different and I would return to this location. The food was great!
Salad with the sweet pecans was way too hot and surprised us both.
We love melting pot but the price is always a bit steep for us. $105.00 for 2 people
California salad needs just a few more pecans and a little less of the bitter greens with the pointy leaves... Chocolate fondue needs a little more fruit and a little less of the cake/brownies.
The tempura now lokos like the cheddar cheese fondue instead of tempura and the uality is like a corn dog batter instead of how it used to be, we asked for a new one and after 15 minutse and our oil overheating we had to ask again. The meat cuts were so varied in their sizes it made cooking time difficult.
My husband and I have been to the Melting Pot many times and know that dinner will last longer than at a typical restaurant. We were not prepared for our dinner to take 3 hours, as ours did on Saturday evening. Our waitress obviously had many tables she was waiting on at the same time as ours, however I've never had to wait so long between courses. We arrived at 6:30 to eat and did not leave until after 9:30. We had children a home with a babysitter, who luckily was able to stay later than we expected. The waitress was very nice, and we did not complain at all, but she also didn't apologize or seem to realize how long she was between coming by. She would say something like, "I'm finally back" or "I haven't even made it back to the kitchen to get your..." but never apologized. I was pretty disappointed overall, as Melting Pot is my favorite restaurant.
