    great food and great service
Service was quit slow and inconsistent. Waitress was very nice but had a large group that was taking bulk of her time and our service suffered as a result.
Maybe just no training on a Friday night until the person is really ready? I don't know, things comparatively were totally fine, we just waited for drinks and the chocolate course a while. But our server was super human dealing with the amount of tables he had and training someone. He was great.
Maybe not so many tables to one waiter, I think that is why our service last evening was lacking. He was too busy trying to keep up with all his tables, and drinks were not refilled in a timely manner. Cheese was not prepared correctly, and had to redo. No manager walking to table. One of the staff members ask us if she could refill our ice tea glasses, which were not ice tea but Shirley Temples.
    1. If someone complains for an item, they don't pay for that item. Period. 2. Ask if each dish is good. Wait until they have TRIED THE DISH. Come by more than once in 30 minutes. 3. They may have been short-staffed on 3/5. The waiters were literally running. Although I sympathized, should not be my problem. If you see waiters running all the time, have more waiters. 4. Is the "rescue spoon" optional? If so, it should be mandatory at every table. Everyone needs to fish things out. 5. Response time for when my son was burned was about 5 minutes. He cried out when he was burned. 5 minutes? and... we had to flag someone down. The burn isn't bad so no worries there. The mother wishes that you keep a few ice packs on-hand in case someone gets burned. We were provided ointment and spray. Instead of ice pack we used a water glass.
Our server Brittany was exceptional. she got all of our special requests correct the first time and was always available if we needed her.
Server was okay, but not up to standard that we have become accustomed to. Little clarification of items when requested.
There is a table to your right as you come in that you cannot dim the recessed lights
Our dinner experience last night was wonderful as always. I have dined at six or more different Melting Pots and never had a bad experience. The waiters are so helpful with direction and choices. I know when I see that "The Melting Pot" sign, no matter where I am, I am going to have a great meal.
    Little pricey but definitely delicious.
