The Melting Pot Restaurant provides a truly social, yet customizable, activity that conveniently revolves around our delicious food. We offer delectable fondue made from award winning cheeses, a selection of fondue cooking styles to enjoy with a variety of entrée options and chocolate fondue desserts that make this dining experience one to be remembered. We are indeed the premier fondue restaurant. Choose one, two, three or more courses to create the perfect night out.

Brooke was very pleasant and allowed the meal to be leisurely. She was great about keeping our teas filled and replenishin our sauces. Except for the fondue temperature, all was great.
Tony was amazing! He really helped me and my boyfriend have a wonderful night out for my birthday. He was warm and inviting, always checking on us at the right time. There was never a moment where I felt the restaurant was lacking, because Tony's service was more than amazing. He definitely is a reason of why we are going back!
All of my answers were in regard to the La Jolla Branch specifically not Melting Pot as a chain. I've visited Seattle location, San Diego(Gas Lamp) La Jolla, Irvine, Temecula (formerly) and Las Vegas, each more than once and have been more than satisfied. This visit had terrible Service, no management presence to share the concerns with. Dirty table, ripped seats, grease and/or food splatters on wall, fruit fly infestation, absent server, ignored by bartender upon arrival and all that for $140.00!!!! Only saving grace was Hannah. She sought redemption for her team the last 30 minutes of our evening and replaced our server after she intuitively sensed our disappointment. She was 200% fantastic and while there was no making up for the prior 2.5 hideous hours, we certainly appreciated her service and she was rewarded directly for such.
    Joshua was personable and professional
    Tony was a great server.
We had long periods of time without food and it just felt a little uncomfortable waiting around. Our server seemed very busy, but was friendly and knowledgeable. The restaurant temperature was cold which also added to the uncomfortableness of the meal. All the food was delicious!
Nicole was an amazing server and made our special night out perfect! She had great recommendations and was very knowledgeable.
There was a couple of employees behind us dining that was so impeccably rude. They were dinning and criticizing the new guy for not asking for the donation you guys had set up. Then made a huge scene saying she may not even donate anymore cause he didn't ask. Matters such as these are to be done in private, and quietly, not so everyone in the restaurant can hear. To top it off, this woman employee, kept cursing so loudly. It wasn't 2 or 3 times... but 6 or more times, where we heard fowl language. We also had a child present with us. No other employee spoke up about it so I had to intervene and tell that woman that there is a child present and that she was being loud, obnoxious, and rude. We also felt extremely bad for our server, as he was the one she was yelling at, and gossiping about, and felt the need to console him, for this was his first night here and we felt he was doing an amazing job. This behavior at this place was extremely uncalled for and unexpected. I hope this gets to corporate so these issues are resolved.
I've been to the La Jolla, Gaslamp, and Fredericksburg Virginia Melting Pots. Overall our favorite is the Gaslamp. La Jolla is nice and less crowded, however we've always found that the service is a little more forced and the waiters don't always seem to know much about the menu or other services. Every time we've gone to the Gaslamp location we've been treated very warm and genuinely; every time we've come to La Jolla, the process is much more transactional and we feel merely tolerated.
