By far the very best server I have had in a restaurant in years if not ever. Brenna was so outstanding I did not want to leave, she asked great questions during cheese preperation and really interacted with my daughters. Explained every course very thoroughly, came by just enough and really made us feel like we were the only ones she was helping that night. Then at the end of the meal said happy birthday to my daughter again and said good luck in college (from a previous conversation) then said to my other daughter that she couldn't wait until she got old enough to do her hair(again from previous conversation and she 7). Thank you for a great evening.
Alex was amazing. She went above and beyond. She walked us step by step and never gave up on us. She was on top of everything. She made the night. Thank you Alex.
We've been coming here for years, a few times each year, and this was the least satisfactory experience we've had. It seemed almost as if we were rushed and kind of left to do our own thing and not really attended to. Maybe the server saw we were regulars but she did not take the time to explain anything or really suggest anything. As noted below the preparations also didn't seem complete this time versus other times we've been in the past. We even had to ask for water refill this time even though were were one of only 2 or 3 tables in the section. Everything just felt a bit rushed than usual, we were out of there in just a bit over an hour when we're normally used to 2. The taste was fine, however it seemed this time, maybe because they saw that we come here at least twice a year, nothing was described to us like normal. The server didn't explain anything really and didn't have the same conversations like we've had with others in the past. The restaurant wasn't busy at all so I'm not sure what was going one. The mojo was also not prepared fresh at the table like we were used to seeing. It seemed to taste the same as it normally does but I don't think the added ingredients they normally do at the table were actually there unless it changed. For instance the fresh-squeezed orange and garlic and for sure the cilantro and other herbs were not in it. The salad was also VERY small, we're talking maybe 10 leaves in my wife's California salad and my house salad was not much bigger. We ordered the classic and steak lovers and while it's nice they gave us large portions of steak they did not give much of anything else. For the classic there were 3 shrimp, 4 pieces of chicken and 3 small pieces of pork along with larger portions of steak. We didn't ask for larger amounts of steak and were hoping we'd get the same amount of everything since I actually don't eat beef.
Tonight I was celebrating getting admitted into grad school. When we arrived, there was a congratulatory card on our table and my host and server congratulated me! Even though it was a small celebration, the staff made me feel like I accomplished something great!
The seating was small where we got placed at
Alex was great. Awesome service and very attentive to our needs.
More ranch dressing on the salad. Bigger dishes to hold the dipping sauces. More chocolate.
We arrived a few minutes ahead of our reservation time. We had to wait in the lobby before being shown to our table. The same occurred with another small party. The restaurant was NOT busy. Most of the tables we passed as we were seated were empty. I understand that the wait staff might not have been ready to serve us, the option of being seated should have been offered. Everything after this was as impeccable as we've come to expect.
    Staff was very friendly.
    Wondeful night out.
