The Melting Pot Restaurant provides a truly social, yet customizable, activity that conveniently revolves around our delicious food. We offer delectable fondue made from award winning cheeses, a selection of fondue cooking styles to enjoy with a variety of entrée options and chocolate fondue desserts that make this dining experience one to be remembered. We are indeed the premier fondue restaurant. Choose one, two, three or more courses to create the perfect night out.

We were a large group - 5 adults and 3 kids - and we went for Ladies Night. It was sort of a special trip, as we had had a 3 month hiatus due to one of our friends having had a baby after our last visit (3 months ago). So this was sort of special for us to get back together. The restaurant wasn't particularly full or busy, so we were surprised by how long it took everything. We were sat down a few minutes after 7:00 and it took almost 30 minutes for a server to get to us. Then when we placed our drink orders from the bar selection (2 cocktails and a wine sample), it took nearly 20 minutes for the drinks to get to us. It wasn't until almost 8:00 when the server got around to getting our dinner orders (3 cheese courses, 4 salads, 1 entree). The cheese portions came out fairly quickly and were devoured pretty quickly. When the server came back to get our chocolate orders, it was close to 930 and one guest had still not received her entree (veggies and broth). We had to tell the manager that the entree was not there yet. We were purposely waiting on our chocolate until our friend had had her entree, because she had only had a salad up to this point. We finally left the restaurant at closing, around 10:15. We were the last ones there. Definitely not the best experience out of all my visits, but certainly not one to keep me from coming back.
Wellington was so nice and made us feel very comfortable. The owner also came by our table and he was so sweet! Very welcoming all the way around.
Steve was excellent! Can't say enough about his expertise and the knowledge. He truly made a ordinary day a special event.
My husband and I have visited several different Melting Pot restaurants (Nashville, Memphis, Birmingham, and Huntsville). This is by far our favorite one! We visit Huntsville often. Wellington was the best server we have ever had at a Melting Pot. He was personable, entertaining, friendly, and knowledgeable. My only negative is that the owner needs to write a new welcome speech. My husband and I have it memorized. It feels impersonal when you are reading a script.
The Huntsville Melting Pot continues to be our restaurant of choice for special occasions. The staff always make us feel at home and our server Steve did an exceptional job of anticipating our requests and even brought in a couple of extra items to enhance our dining experience. Please keep up the phenomenal job!
Our server, Chase, was personable, but not he most attentive. I would have ordered more wine if he had offered, or even visited the table while we were enjoying the entree. He brought the chocolate menu as we were finishing the entree and then disappeared for a long time. We pre-bussed our our table and then waited a really long time for him to return to us. We were about to ask another server to find him for us when he finally returned. But we waited a good ten minutes with dirty dishes and nomdrinks.
The only thing that held it back from being absolutely perfect was that I believe we were sitting on the other side of the kitchen. It got a bit loud once in a while with a loud thump or two or three on the wall.
Ladie's night out was amazing Steve is awesome server
We were sat in a very small 2 person booth in the very back of the restaurant and our server took 40 minutes in between salads and entrees and entrees and desserts. We had to wait the 40 minutes for refills and straws as well. She said it was her first Saturday but for such an expensive fancy meal we expected more. The owner discounted our meal and apologized and we were very grateful.
Wellington was an excellent server, made our experience very pleasant!
