The employees look miserable, they don't smile, they look like they don't want to work there, I am on a league there and don't understand why there has to be silly animated characters up on the score board. This is a league not family fun time. However, Cathy was excellent and did seem pleasant.
I haven't bowled in awhile so the prices seemed high. I thought 46.00 dollars for 3 bowlers and shoes and 2 games was a lot. I wouldn't think 5:00 on a Thursday night is prime time. But I guess I was wrong.

Bryan N was so great at explaining everything to us, we are new to AMF and were excited joining a league and summer games. the next time we came in he welcomed us and encouraged us. We are looking forward to many fun years of bowling now ! Very nice !

I am a league bowler, I bowl often, the lanes were busy, so I was only able to get 1 lane for 5 people, I asked if the other lane opened up if we could have it, Bryan said if he didn't have a waiting list we could, after 1/2 hour the lane opened up, we asked for the lane and he said no...after another 1/2 hour the lane still not being used we asked again, he said no...and a third time about 1/2 later again, we asked again and hour and a 1/2 later from the first time and he said no...there was nobody bowling on the lane next to us and we weren't allowed to use it...we only bowled 3 games because it took so long. Normally we would bowl 5 - 7 games... We were Not happy.
Justin M. was great in getting me a lane the next day especially for how busy it was . I find him very professional.
We have always come and bowled at AMF Lanes in Cranston. Regular customers. Always treated with respect and kindness. However, last night, there seemed to be a new manager (Edwin) and he was rude, to say the least. There were 4 of us and we always had 2 lanes before. We were told that unless we had 8 people, we had to have 1 lane. Using that logic, if there were 7 of us, we would have to go on one lane??? That is ridiculous. All through the night, there were empty lanes, so I don't know why we had to be squeezed onto one lane. AND, right next to us, there were TWO people on TWO lanes. Don't get it. Plus, the bowlers that were on the other side of us kept taking our balls - I realize that is not the Alley's fault, but it just goes to show why we want two lanes. We asked where the other manager was and was told that she (Amy) was no longer working there. You have lost a great employee in Amy and replaced her with a rude one. So, thank you for that. We will be back; however, if we are forced to bowled on one lane again, I will put up a stink about it.
