Better monitoring of the lanes would have been nice. We were stuck next to a noisy, obnoxious family that wasn't watching their children and a couple of the members were getting incredibly intoxicated to the point they were falling asleep on our chairs/side of the lane. Almost had a nasty altercation with them before we left, but managed to avoid it. When I went up to the grille area to simply order a soda, I was rudely redirected to the main transaction counter which I waited for a few minutes to purchase the soda. From there I was redirected yet again to the bar to pay as the employee wasn't able to ring me up for whatever reason. The bar was overly crowded and the single worker was so busy, so it turned into an almost 10 minute ordeal just to order a soda. I understand that it was extremely busy and peak hours the time we were there, but staffing accordingly would be a good idea to deal with that many people at once.
We were there for State Bowling Tournament...the workers were very unfriendly and acted like we were unimportant. One person behind the bar when we tried to order food took 1 hr 45 minutes to get chicken wings which was on the "special" menu. Some of our group were told they could only get pieces of pizza while another one was told she could only buy an entire pizza. Very poorly done for a big tournament. We felt very unwelcome. I would not recommend this lane to the USBC ever. We will all vote to move it elsewhere if possible. It really ruined what should have been a fun weekend.
